It’s also a track which can bite you, and we’ve seen that over the years with the champions’ wall. Even though I’m not a Formula One champion, I’ll be giving that part of the track some respect!

I will say, that my time working with Kimi was brilliant. We had a particularly close knit car crew and I include him in that, and every success we shared meant an awful lot to us all. We knew how to celebrate too! When Kimi won the 2005 Japan GP, overtaking Fisichella on the very last lap and having started from 17th place, we went crazy and a somewhat excessive 3 day party duly ensued.

3 days?! OMG. That must be one crazy party!

Must have been the best F1 celebration ever! No wonder though, best GP I’ve ever watched.

I never thought I’d become a Formula One racing driver. When I was learning to be a racer, I was just concentrating on improving every day and then, when someone showed me F1, I knew that’s what I wanted to do. I’m obviously happy I am where I wanted to get to, but there’s a lot more to come.
Vitaly Petrov, when asked if he was the man he always thought he would become.

I’m back…

You can’t imagine how much torture I went through while having to revise at the same time as watching the Monaco Grand Prix. Well, you might be able to, but I don’t recommend it, because it sucks…

Busy revising for exams. I’ll be back on May 28th, but I just really need to focus on revision at the moment. Unfollow me if you have to, I won’t be offended.

Formula 1 will hold a race in Argentina in 2013, in the coastal resort of Mar del Plata. A three-year deal will be signed in May. The track will be a 5km street circuit designed by F1’s favourite architect Hermann Tilke. The Korean and Valencia races will no longer be on the calendar after this year.

The BBC (via an Italian publication).

So. No Korea or Valencia, which will be replaced by the Grand Prix of America and the Argentine Grand Prix. I’ll be honest, I had begun to like the South Korean circuit, but I hope Tilke will do something nice in Argentina.

It’s correct that I’m a bad loser. Why should I lie? If I was good at losing I wouldn’t be in Formula 1. […] I think it’s more honest to act how you really feel than pretending to be the Smiling Boy who actually isn’t in the mood to smile.
